Obituary of Rosa L. Flores
Rosa L. Flores, age 100 years of Camden, passed away peacefully at home in the early hours of March, 14, 2024.
Beloved wife of the late Miguel Flores. Devoted mother of her five children, Rosa Braccio, Nilda Medina, Michael Flores, Margie Flores-Jones, and Edna Flores-Iannotti. Loving grandmother of Chastity Robinson, Daneen Morelli, Michael Flores, Jr., and Jowong Pitts and great grandmother of Zander and Titus Robinson. Dear sister of Cutin Orlando.
Rosa was born on June 16, 1923 in Carolina, Puerto Rico and grew up surrounded by a large family. She was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others and she incorporated that into her mother hood. Rosa met her husband Miguel in Alto Rey, Puerto Rico and they fell in love instantly and knew they both shared a love for family and decided to start one of their own. As a mother and grandmother, she was generous, loving and kind.
In her free time, Rosa enjoyed going to bible school, women's auxiliary events at her church, listening to salsa music, trips to the casinos, cooking, and buying the glamourous bling bling.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who adore her with all of their hearts. We know that we can't have you but we are happy knowing that the angels have opened their wings to accept you into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 9:30-11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden.
